I’ve gotten another review today; not as glowing as the first (how could it have been?) but from a very well-respected, well-known online publication. I’m pretty happy- I got a very respectable 7 out of 10 on their scale, and while it’s never thrilling to hear that someone thinks you’re nothin’ new, the reviewer clearly gave me his full attention and a very thoughtful, mostly very positive review. I really appreciate that.

I’m very excited that the album is finally starting to get out there. When you do something like this on your own – or maybe even if you have a major label and machinery behind you – you realize that it’s a long, long road and you better enjoy the steps along the way. As long as I am even taking steps, no matter how small, I’m enjoying the process.
